OEM Nav + Aftermarket Amp question
The search function seems to take multiple words as "OR", so here goes.
If you have OEM Navigation, and keep the factory HU, but replace the Factory Amp, does the Nav audio still come through the speakers and auto-mute the sound for the instructions?
From schematics, it seems that it is all handled through the HU, but i want to be sure before spending any money.

That's correct. The factory NAV voice still comes through the speakers and auto-mutes the music as long as you keep the stock HU. If you replace the stock HU at some point then you will have to use a work around which is fairly easy to do. There are a few threads on this subject here. Hope this helps.
