More on stereo upgrades..

Hey folks. Would upgrading the speakers with a new amp be worthwhile or is that the Clarion headunit itself suck? I want to keep the controls on the steering wheel while getting better sound. I'll probably add in a a motorized LCD where the Navi would be, as well as a PC for MP3s and DVDs, which is why I'm adding the amp.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you want to keep the steering wheel controls, you'll have to keep the stock headunit. I believe there are companies that make adapters to plug steering wheel controls into aftermarket radios, but I doubt they're out for the G35 yet.

The amp and speakers will be most of your sound quality.
