People that have Sprint and use the G35 Bluetooth system! (Need your help!!!)

Hi

I just got my 06 coupe, and I have a PPC-6700 phone(http://www.sprint.com/business/produ...PcsPhones.jsp). It seems like my phone wont work and when I checked Infiniti's website, noun of the phones on there list are sprint phones.

So if anybody has any kind of sprint and has got it to work with the G35 Bluetooth system, please post the info of the phone and how you made it work.

Also, when I tried to do with my phone, my phones asks for a password to connect to Bluetooth (for my headset it was just 0000). What is the password for our cars? (Is there a password?) My phone recognizes the cars Bluetooth, then it asks me for the password and it says it has detected the Bluetooth but I need the password.

Thanks

Mahdi

I hav the Samsung A900, and it works, I just followed the instructions in the g35 manual.

Tho it is buggy as hell, the car "rings" even tho there is no call comin in a couple of times per day. I hav to dial out (basically just push talk on a phone #) and end it for the car to think a call has been made and is ended to make the car fone turn off.

When it works it great, but otherwise, its quite annoyin. I find myself just usin my bluetooth headset

My Infiniti Dealership setup my bluethooth phone to my 06 G35x for me when I went to pick it up. When you setup your bluethooth phone with the car it will ask you for a password it's 1234
I have a Nextel phone i870. Now everytime I step into my car and start up my car my phone will ring to ask if I want to connect my blutooth phone to the the car, it's awesome.

hehe I just read the owners manual, and found out the code Mine works pretty good, the only thing that dosent work is when I try to tell it the name of the person.

THanks a lot!!

In order to dial by name, you have to setup the numbers in the cars phonebook.
Press button, say "Phonebook new entry", follow the prompts.
Its kind of a pain, but once its setup, its deadly accurate. Make sure you use multi syllobic names. Like John Smith, instead of just John.

I have the A900 as well.....and I had the 'ringing' problem that you had. I just updated the firmware on it, but haven't really tried it on my G yet. I have a BT headset now Sprint never confirmed whether the new firmware fixed the phantom ringing.
The A900 has it's own voice recognition, so I think I'm more prone to use that instead.
