Door/Trunk Open warning on 06 Nav

Door/Trunk Open warning on 06 Nav
I never saw this mentioned anywhere before so apologize if its been posted. I accidently moved the car with my trunk not shut completely and I got a warning on my Nav today. This feature is not mentioned anywhere in the owners manual IRC. Just thought it was a cool little feature Id share

HI, I am really new. I have an 06 G35 coupe that I just took delivery of and I saw your thread and post. I went outside and tried it and wow it really works! I also (just being silly) left both doors ajar not wide open and tried, and it did it also! It really works!
you guys get all the good stuff BUT in a few months you'll be old news toooo! lol

the previous models have this to ( at least for the 05 ), i remered one time i spent a good 10 minutes opening and shutting my doors cause my nav kept saying 'DOOR OPEN' .. i was getting frustrated and thought my nav was broken, and i went to the trunk to get the infiniti # and i realized my trunk was open! could of at least wrote "TRUNK OPEN" - but yeah, good watchin out infiniti

'04s (and I would guess '03s) have this as well. It's interesting that they haven't updated it to show 'trunk open' instead of 'door open'.

It says door open on all models of the g35 navi. The first time I saw it I thought the door wasn't closed and I kept opening it and closing it. I blamed my girlfriend for not closing her door and she promptly said "check the trunk idiot" I had to eat my words, since it was in fact the trunk hehe

i had the same problem...i was like wait...since when is my trunk a door?

Mine does say "Trunk Open" with the trunk part lit up, I guess thats what changed in the 06.
