AVElectronic TV Turner / DVD Changer installed
I just installed my TV Turner and DVD Changer from AVElectronic. I have couple of problems...
The screen is pretty clear until the engine starts, then it get a little blury and has shadows. Also the sound quality, does anyone else has the same system? The sound quality is not as good as I expected (CD quality). How does other member who has the same system sound like? I want to know if I did something wrong... Thanx in advance... =D
Here some pix I took:

Re: AVElectronic TV Turner / DVD Changer installed
I did something similar recently and have a similar, though only subtle, black shadow when the AC or fan is installed. I just received a 10A noise filter from partsexpress.com.
I'll let you know if it solves it. I'm not sure if it should be on the DVD power or the power to the screen. I'll have to experiment...

How was this mounted? Shoot some photos with a flash to better show the unit. I don't need to see the TV video. Thanks!

Re: AVElectronic TV Turner / DVD Changer installed
A few issues. First, the NAV LCD isn't very high quality, meaning it's not geared for full motion video. I know that doesn't explain the shadow problem, but you'll never obtain good quality video through it.
The sound, as far as I know, it's RF induced. The sound is fed into the system using a transmitter through the radio. This way never produces "CD-quality" audio.
These were reasons enough for me to not buy the NAV system, considering it's hefty price tag, (Not to mention the rediculous $500 tag of the avelectronics device)I could do an aftermarket system that will play DVD's at higher video/sound quality and give navigation.
