Installing an Ipod in an 05' Coupe

Any suggestions. I have a 30 Gig Video MP3 Ipod and was wondering what was the best kit out there?

My 03' sedan had a tape deck, and that was very easy to work with. I just hooked up a I/O cassette player to my IPOD. Thoughts??

if your just looking for the simplest solution... why not an fm transmitter? that's what i use. many people will say... well the quality sucks. out of everyone that's been in my car no one has ever complained and i honestly don't see any differences either. not to mention most mp3's are sampled well below cd audio standards anyways i don't see what the big deal is. i know others have hooked up via the sat input in the receiver... that's probably your best bet if your looking for the cleanest connection.

There is thread about the Harman/Kardon Drive+play. I have one installed in my 05 sedan with the wired fm modulator. If you don't have a satellite radio, you can get
an auxillary audio input for line in.

Do a search.

PAC AAI-NIS + Blitzsafe universal ipod connector is the way to go imo

controls

Note that the UII does not give you control of the iPod from the stereo controls.

You might be able to combine it with the HARMAN KARDON Drive + Play IPOD for full, wired, signal & remote control. But this thing is bigger than the iPod, so I think the ProClip makes more sense both size wise and economically.

see:

for pictures of the ProClip.
