sub/amp question

what up G's? I have a bose system in my sedan and i was wondering...if i wanted to get a small (8 - 10 inches) sub, how would i go about doing that. I'm not interested in powering up my whole system, i just wanted to get a small sub just for some extra bass. Any help?

Re: sub/amp question

I have an '01 Max w/ Bose and I two adapters from PAC. They may be the same for the Infiniti. Try calling them. The first adapter was a wiring 'T' that went in between the HU and the Amp in the trunk. That adapter just parralled the lines allowing the stock setup to operate normally. The second adapter plugged into the 'T' and pulled out clean front and rear line level signals which I sent to the sub. I would recommend that you use a sub crossover/line voltage booster since these HU's don't have high voltage outputs. Audio Control makes great sub controls. I tied a 12" to my setup and got tons of bass. www.pac-audio.com
