Installed Mike's "upgraded" mount on my 06 premium coupe today. Everything fits great. Thanks Mike!

Glad the new designed mount solves the problem.

Mike makes a good product and ships promptly.

One thing to note if you have an X50:

The radar detector will shake if you do not snug it up against the bottom of the mirror. This is not in any way related to Mike's mount, it is a function of the factory mount piece. As an easy fix, I just stuck a piece of felt to the bottom of the mirror (i.e. between the mirror and the detector) and everything works and looks great!
The female slot in the detector is bigger than the thickness of the male suction cup end that slides into the slot. If you put a slight bow on the suction cup bracket so when you slide it into the detector slot it is tight, the detector won't shake. Just my two cents but it worked great for me.

So far all the mounts I have sold for all the 04's have had a 3/4 diameter round shaft. Some of the 05 and 06's have the 15/16 sort of oval molded plastic mirror shaft.

i think the solution would be to tell him the year and the package of your car in the box at the bottom of your paypal screen.
