Does anyone know if it is possible to change the AVIC-N1 from XM to Sirius? Or do you have to get a new HU? I don't want to go the FM Modulated route. Direct Plug-In-Play setup is what is needed.

Yes you can.
You will need a new piece.
I have it onmy Avic-N1 for the longest it beats having to have a second tuner outside.
It's kind of limited but its better than nothing.

Compared to srius tuners it is lmited.
You can't store fav songs so when they come on it alerts you.
You can't view channels by genre.
