Stock amp?

Stock amp?

I have two questions....

1. what is the plug that is right beside the stock amp in the trunk that is just sitting there but not plugged into anything?

2. can some one tell me how to bypass the stock amp in a 2003 infiniti g35 coupe. I have a new double din head unit and the sound is terrible so i am trying to bypass the amp?

Any info will help thank you

That plug is for the satellite radio receiver you apparently do not have

To bypass the amp, tap into the wires going into the amp, before the amp. Connect them to your aftermarket amp, if you have one, or splice the stock inputs/outputs together if you are running your speakers off of the double-din deck's internal amp. Below is a link to amp wiring colors:
