i know there's been lots of threads about adding an aftermarket amp to the bose amp, but there's also so much talk about tapping wires before or after the bose amp...what are the actual differences? i'm going to be running 10w3v2 on 250/1 amp...

 

Yeah, that one's been beat to death a 1000 times. If you're just adding a sub/amp to your stock bose system then it won't make much of a difference either way. With the 250/1 amp you can cut one end of a RCA cable and splice into the HU input OR the speaker output and connect the other end to the amp. If you use the amp input signal then set the input voltage switch to low. If you use the speaker output signal then set it to high. Use wire taps to splice into the stock wiring so you leave everything in tact. Hope this helps.
