Hardwire iPod kit for stick head unit?

Is there a hardwire kit that exists for our stick Bose head usnit? I have an 05 coupe with nav and XM. Everyone is telling me that I have to change out the head unit to be able to hardwire the iPod in, otherwise I have to use an FM transmitter. WTF???

This has been covered many time. Do a search for PAC-AAI-NIS2. YOU NEED THE PAC-AAI-NIS2, NOT THE PAC-AAI-NIS (the first and now discontinued version). Because you have the stock satellite receiver, you need the PAC-AAI-NIS2. Do a search on the PAC-AAI-NIS2. Good luck finding it, it's backordered and on recall everywhere.

Wow dude, I'm gonna have to agree with amthar on this....Do a search. You posted two topics today that are practically the MOST covered on this forum. The iPod question has like 3 threads all discussed within the past week on the same page this thread is showing up.

Hey guys thanks for the references, but there's an easier solution if you don't like the dupe post...don't answer it. Believe it or not, I'm perfectly aware that I put 2 posts up this morning, but I only had a minute and was hoping for some quick info.

So you are going to waste other people's time because you need some quick info? Get real and get out of here, that's not the community spirit this forum is all about.

The quick and easy answer is, look at PA11-NIS (not NAS! - this connects the iPod to the stereo and also gives you control of iPod) and PAC-AAI-NIS2 (no control of iPod, but gives you two line-inputs to the Bose Headunit). You can buy them both on-line from multiple sources. There are many other choices, but these two devices are the most used by G35 owners on this forum (I have the PA11-NIS).
-- Good luck.
