Pac AAI-NIS 2...suggestions please
i noticed a while back that the new aai nis 2 was recalled as quoted in a recent thread:
i noticed them off ebay for a while and i just checked and found them back up. I imediately bought the only one up and now im thinking.......are they back out? or did i just buy a defective one? If your asking why i bought it so fast, i have had my tv2nav2go installed since before december, and the aai nis 1 (recieved peripheral unit intead) that i bought from jerry(903?) from ebay was defective, and never recieved a new one. He blocked all communication, stole my money, and kept the defective unit he promised to return, after a month of no contact i decided to file a report which after so long it was too late. So i lost my money and o well.
Now, if indeed i bought a defective AAI-NIS 2...will it affect me? i have a 2005 6mt, according to the quote's bulletin report it was on the 2006's.
So...any tips?

# 1. Volume control not working on headunit.
Description: AAI-NIS2 with Rev. 1.04.15 may not allow user to adjust volume on the headunit.
This symtom so far happens in 2006 model Infiniti's and Nissan vehicles with PRESET ABC button and without factory Satellite installed. Prior years may be affected also in some vehicles.

rev 1.4.15 - is that before or after the recall?

just an update on the pac i bought - they seem to be legit and updated, the sticket on it says rev. 1.4.17 so it should be up to date. Cant wait to FINALLY finish my nav set up thats been audio-less for 4 months!!!!!!!!!! So if anoyne needs a AAI NIS 2 they are hard tof ind buy cobymoby i believe is his name has them on ebay for 89 bucks and free shipping.
-i filed an investigation with my bank against that dude on ebay that ripped me off and kept my money for the pac back in dec so will see how that goes.
