Nostalgic car audio equipment?

You guys ever look back and just desire some of the oldie but goodie car audio equipment? I used to have a MTX Thunder 2150x amp (the black crinkly case with gold letters) powering the first gen JL 12W6. I only used one channel but it sounded so good.

How about those PPI chrome amps? I thought those were, and still are, the best looking amps made. Simple, clean, but with a bit of flash to them. And they were good quality. And the great thing about this is that you can find them for pretty cheap on ebay these days.

Love the old-school stuff from the very early 90's. I buy them locally and resell them on ebay. I look for the old Linear Power amps, PPI m/am series and pro mos line, Hifonics 6/7/8 series, ADS, Orion hcca's, RF Punch amps, Zapco, PG, Soundstream, US amps, etc.etc.

Oh yeah! Forgot all about ADS and Orion. Another one that I liked was Xtant. McIntosh still in the business? Those were pimp amps. So were those PPI tube drivers.

First system I ever had...Orion amp 222sx, 250sx, boston comps front and Polk's rear fill, dont remeber the model number but its 3/4 tweeter with 2 1/2 inch upper mid-range in one speaker, sweet sounding speakers, tube sub

Second... JBL tweeter, TO-3 mid range, Rockford fosgate's 6 1/2 mid, same polk for rear fill, pair pro 10s in 5th order box , 2 power 650, OEQ1 both with chromed shroud and pink lettering, PA-1, sony tweeters on rear view mirror for center stage and Sony's 2001 CD changer, and talking alarm(warning, you are too close to the vehicle, stay back or the alarm will sound...5.4.3.2.1....)...ahhh those were the fun days.

JL Audio? what JL, they dont even exsist yet, well maybe, they still were just an stereo shop then.
