I just want to add the PA11-NIS, Is the whole dash removal (Clock, glove box, under steering wheel plastics) needed to just remove the BOSE HU?

This car is soo funny compared to my SALEEN Mustang. I to change headlight bulbs you have to remove bumper and now to change my HU I felt like I just rebuilt the dash. I installed my USA-SPEC today. It went well, thanks for all the insight from all the people on this site. I couldnt of done it with out G35Driver.com. This is a great gadget, I recomend it for anybody with an IPOD. It truly is worth the money.

Finally installed USA SPEC

Well, it's done! i finally installed my USA Spec Ipod interface. Really really simple to do. In fact the hardest part of the job is Taking apart the damn dash. A Real PITA! BUT, totally worth it.

Some things to note if your choosing to go this route. It does not use the "SAT" button. Although it does plug into the sat port, it shows up as a CD Changer. Weird** Sound Quality is AWESOME!!! Charging the ipod while playing is great. and when you turn the car off it pauses the cutrrent song playing. When you restart the car it picks up right where you left off. Sweet feature! Steering Wheel controls are great but When you have a lot of songs...it's kinda hard to navigate through them. Playlists would probably helpful here. Unfortunately, the Bose headunit only counts up to 99. So when you reach your 100th song, it will display as 01 on the counter. Not so sweet feature. Also, No TRACK NAMES! That really blows.

I'm still getting aquainted with it so i'll update this post but by far I think it's the best choice around for an OEM finish...and for $120.00 (crutchfield) you can't beat it!
