Factory Sirius Kit: Ground Wire / Splitter?

I bought a factory Sirius radio kit for infiniti. I pulled everything out of the boxes to make sure I had everything and I am missing the ground wire and screw and also the antenna splitter. Are these supposed to be in the box?

Any help?

Is the antenna splitter required for the 2004 Coupes?

I didn't have neither in my package when I intalled mine and works just fine. I was told that that ground wire is built into the wiring harness. But what is the antenna splitter for that you're talking about? My antenna just plugged right into the tuner.

Not sure, but the Infiniti service manual / Installation instructions mention an antenna splitter. I too have no idea what this is for.

Oh that's right, I remember reading about that in the instructions. You don't need it, the antenna will plug right into the SAT tuner.

Some tuners have 2 antenna inputs. You would need a splitter to make the connection from the 1 antenna lead split into 2 antenna inputs on the tuner. Yours obviously only has 1 input so no splitter is required. Mine came just like yours did. I did however install a ground wire that I supplied. It worked without it as well.

If you plan to attach the unit to the car using metal fasteners instead of the double sided tape, you don't need the ground wire.

Oh, and I thought the splitter came with the anteana, not with the XM tuner. Could be wrong... You will need a splitter if you have the two colored inputs (one green and one "curry" per Infiniti).
