i've been lazy, i'll post pics from my install tonight in my thread and link it here. 16psibrick helped me out with wiring the Blitzsafe unit, not sure if you got that for powering an ipod...

Is the install really that difficult or is it just time consuming?

05 and newer, it's not too bad. 04 and older, takes a lot longer.

Why didn't you get the USA spec unit from crutchfield? It's plug and play! and it powers the IPOD and you maintain your steering wheel controls.

Not that difficult, just time consuming, if you are trying to be careful. About 2-3 hours.
Hardest parts are;
1. Removing the trim piece by the clock.
2. Removing and swapping the plugs on the back of the radio.
Everything else is just removing screws and pulling off parts.
Remember to tape all your dash off with blue painter's tape before you start or things will get scratched.

I installed mine in about an hour. But then again, I have an 06 so the console removal was a breeze.

I didn't know that. Reason why I held off on purchasing one was b/c I heard that there wasn't a unit that works with our steering wheel. Will this work for me if I have SAT? Where can I buy one?

If you got a SAT button your set! plugs right into the sat plug and the factory plug plugs right in so you get to keep all your steering wheel controls. i got mine from crutchfield.com

I’m just using it for 2 aux audio inputs.

I have my SAT tuner plugged in right now, is there a way to plug them both in?

PAC-AAI-NIS2 lets you keep your stock sat tuner and still add ONE aux input channel
