If you are going to leave that unit for a while in your car, keep trying a few times a day, don't go crazy with it though. Mine came out after a month or so, i used to try 2 to 3 times a day when i first got in the car, then i replaced the unit of course.

Such a prevalent problem, I wonder what the total percentage of units that have the error is. Almost seems like you should plan for the eventuality if it hasn't happened yet. Have your JDM or Metra DD kits on standby with the appropriate adapters, etc. I may just do that knowing it's likely to happen.

old topic... but I just had mine replaced last month and it crapped out again.
now all 6 discs are stuck... funny thing is I bought 2 CD's last night and put them in this morning only for them to get stuck.
I didnt even get a chance to listen to them yet!
