Neither will give you clean hard hitting bass but the Kenwood will give you more of that relative to the Bazooka. Bazooka's tend to be "boomy" due to their design at giving you more sound for less(amp efficiency).

If you want a relatively harder hitting bass look for the all in one's with no ports, but with a sealed enclosure.
Or DIY and mount the amp on/behind the box for easy removal
If your looking at Crutchfield try this for $200

and this for $100 in mono this will push ~325 watts to the JL
