OEM NAVI or Digital Wheelz Navi? and So Cal Install?

I was wondering if I should get an oem navi from an 03/04 g35 or get the Digital Wheelz Navi Kit for my 06g35? Whats the big difference? What will work better with my 6cd mp3 amplified bose system? Do both do DVD, Mp3, Camera, etc? Which one is more difficult to install? And does anybody in So Cal know how to install these or know of a shop that can charge pretty fair price to install it? Im in eagle rock,ca 90041. Thanks

Kenny

Hey The digital wheels installer if i am correct is up in my area.I have seen this setup. It is very nice.It looks like a factory install. The oem from what i have heard i very hard to do.It is a good replacement for the factory to get that clean factory look.

theres someone selling the whole center from an 03g35 with bose stereo, oem navi, climate controls etc? so can you just swap out the center and replace it with that one? also the Dwheelz I would need an external dvd player correct? or will it just hook up to my bose system?

It's a preference! But I'd ask your dealer about compatability with an older nav system. Seems like a lot of trouble/money/possible problems...go with the factory 06 for your 06, warranty etc. I'd do that before I get "some dude" from "some shop" to be digging all over the inside of my console trying to figure it out. Good luck!

In order to add the factory nav you need to rip the entire dash out, then replace almost every wiring harness behind there, the wiring is totally different, its like an 8 hour job and a lot of headaches, I saw a step by step diy for it and the guy regrets doing it.... get the digital wheels or an AVIC Z1..
