After market stereo, factory stinks

I love my ride, but one thing that sucks about this car is the factory stereo system. This will be my first upgrade. Now I would like some help from you guys. There is currently no after market din conversion for an 06 6mt. If any one has a setup please post some pice of center console. I really need to change this radio ASAP. Any help is appreciated.

would be cool to use the single din conversion from digital wheelz, and put an aftermarket CD player in that cubby hole... and replace the speakers, etc. You could control the player via remote, etc... however switching CD's would be a pain... unless you keep the stock CD player, utilize the line out on the back, into an Aux in on you new system... etc...

It would be a fun project to put an aftermarket system in a car, utlizing the stock changer, and have everything completely hidden... even the new head unit...

Just a thought.
Then again, if you are good with fiberglass and paint... just cut the old system out and figerglass the panel to a single din.

please check out the A/V/E section, there are plenty of threads regrading "how to", even for the 06s.

Nvm...this thread was just moved...
