Mounting amps advice?

Hey guys need some advice....

Aight...I got the JLA 450/4 and 500/1 amps for my speakers...The problem I have is where to put them. The 450/4 can fit (sort of) right above the casing for the bose amp similar to how amthar did it (no idea how to screw it on though...). Now with the 500/1 I originally wanted to mount it on the opposite side, but I forgot that the tools for changing tires was on that side...so basically the only options left were to put the 500/1 outside in the trunk or mount it on the back of the rear seat. I took apart the rear seat yesterday and figured that is the best area to do so...(not a stealth install anymore but oh well...)
Anyway, from all the threads i've read the cardboard (or whatever it is) on the backside of the rear seat is pretty flimsy and *probably* can't hold the 500/1. So I'll need to get a thin board or something to screw onto.

Now my question is, how to I take the back part off to put the board in?

I've searched and found a few DIY tutorials on how to take out the seat entirely but nothing on putting a board in... It seems like there are clips holding the piece in there, but I couldnt find them.

TIA

Third option on where to put them: remove the spare tire, and mount them there. Thats what I did with mine (JL 450/4 and a JL 500/1) It's the perfect space.

As for the spare tire? I've got a can of fix a flat for small leaks, and roadside assisstance for anything bigger. And a cellphone. And friends. Who needs a spare?

On the Coupe the back of the seat is held in with those plastic friction anchor pins. If you remove the seat and flip up the back bottom edge you can lift up on the fixed portion a bit to locate the plastic anchors and then just pull up firmly at each location to pop the back off.

I used metal strips to anchor the amp instead of wood but wood will work fine as well. I have pictures, but not on this computer...

Good luck
