Eclipse avn 5435-How do you reset default/factory setting?

I am having a problem with the volume output from the HU.

I got my car serviced from Glendale Infiniti on friday, when I got it back noticed that I have to crank the volume up to like 50 and above to hear any decent sound (the volume goes up to 70). Before the service I usually just crank the HU up to 30-35 and the sound was relatively loud. I'm thinking when the service people disconnected my battery it might have burnt out a fuse or something.

I have tried to adjust all the audio/equilization feature but to no avail. Thus, I wanted to know if there is anyway to reset the unit back to its default setting and go from there.

Thanks.

I have pretty much the same issue. One of the songs we used to tune my amplifier (JL500/5) sounds flat at the same level we originally used. All the songs sound flat, but I remember the exact volume we used when playing this song (53).

The only thing I've been able to do to help the situation is to boost the subwoofer volume in the AVN5435 settings. Pick Info -> Settings on the AVN5435 and you can raise and lower the subwoofer level. Changing mine from 1 to 2 helped, but it's not back where it used to be.

Post back if you find anything.

the default setting for subwoofer control is 4 and the loudness is on. that is probably your problem.

If you want to restore it just disconnect your battery for a while
