How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?
Does anyone know of a fix ? besides using the key in driver door ?
Where is the brain located for the OEM alarm system ? please don't tell me its integrated into the OEM ECU
On Tuesday we picked up a 03' Sedan for my girl, Garnet Fire, w/ premium & sport packages.
within next month: alarm upgrades, staggered 20's, tint, Rockford amp & sub

Sorry bro, but unless you can get inside the body control module (BCM) then these are your only options:
BCM Options
Congrats on your new Sedan, the mods sound cool. Let us know how those work out.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?
Hey there! I'm working on that very problem! My brother has an engineering degree and I like to tinker around with electronics myself. We're going to build a small timer circuit that will be triggered from the factory remote that will roll the windows up. Actually he has already built the prototype. I just need to find some time to install it and test.
Once we get it working solid, I'd like to sell them. I've got to get some prices from the circuit board manufacturer before I can put a $$ on it. Let me know if you are interested and I'll try to get off my butt and work on this some more!

The sunroof will be a little more tricky. I've got to figure out the wiring to try and avoid having to pull the headliner down and there is no constant power for the sunroof that I know of. As soon as you open the door, the roof power is cut.
If anyone has wiring diagrams for the car, maybe they can have a look and see if there's anything useable under the dash. Rambo, are you there? ;-)

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?
Hey everyone! Thanks for the interest. I will get working on this again real soon. Good thing it's almost fall and the windows can stay up for awhile!?!?
I don't want to get you all too excited but it looks like this could be a very simple task. The only catch is finding a PCB manufacturer that will do a small (50-100 piece) run of boards for me.
Preliminary specs:
Triggers from multiple lock pulses from the factory lock signal. One press will trigger the doors to lock just like factory. Two presses of the lock button will trigger the windows to go up. All from the remote.
Easy 4 wire hook up but will probably have to take the trim panel off for the driver's door to get at the required wires. A stereo shop should be able to do it in under an hour. I will put together an instruction sheet as well.
Disclaimer/Warning: If you have small children, think twice before doing this! This is probably why Nissan/Infiniti didn't include this feature from the factory.

Do you think the mod would over-ride the factory auto reverse feature of the windows then?
