I am planning to purchase this headunit and i was wondering if:

1. Will i be able to use the steering wheel controls with this unit?
2. Will i be able to intergrate the g35 bluetooth to this unit?

I believe with any aftermarket HU you will lose steering wheels controls...UNLESS you the pac interface unit which will allow you to keep them.

As far as Bluetooth, I thought the Z1 comes equipped with it's own blue tooth?

The Z1 is bluetooth ready. You need the bluetooth adapter which will be out in 2 months according to my shop.

As for steering wheel controls, you'll need to get the PAC unit to retain the steering wheel controls.

Your system wont sound much better just by upgrading your head unit though. I'm holding one of the bose speakers in my hands, and it's pathetic compared to the DLS UP6 that I had installed.
