The Z1 is bluetooth ready. You need the bluetooth adapter which will be out in 2 months according to my shop.
As for steering wheel controls, you'll need to get the PAC unit to retain the steering wheel controls.
Your system wont sound much better just by upgrading your head unit though. I'm holding one of the bose speakers in my hands, and it's pathetic compared to the DLS UP6 that I had installed.
