DLS UP6 crossover jumper settings

Can anyone recommend a tweet jumper setting(crossover) for UP6's? From the factory, they're set to low. In a G Coupe, would middle or high be better, or is this just a preference thing?

Thanks!

One of the main reasons I bought the DLS UP6 was the ability of the tweeters to play lower frequencies than most tweeters I've had experience with. This ability to play low frequencies is especially helpful in the coupe because it reduces "float"- the effect that the tweeter and woofer sound like they are apart and thus sound is coming from two different locations (commonly caused when the tweeter and woofer are not physically together, like our coupe's are configured).

Ror this reason I run them low and I cannot distringuish any floating.

Thanks Amthar. I'm curious...how did you mount your tweets? Did you just remove the stock ones in the sail panel & jerry rig the DLS ones into place?

Yes. I used a metal ruler from Staples, one of the ones with cork on the back side. Cut two pieces long enough to go across the backside of the tweeter. Drilled two holes to line up with the stock mounting posts of the stock tweeter. Transferred the stock screws, works like a champ. You may have to cut off the DLS UP6 tweeter guards. I didn't, instead I just rotated the tweeter so it pointed more towards the front seats and this orientation made them fit. That's the best I can explain it.
