I have used many in the past. What do you want to use them for, amp movement perhaps?

Try Select products or AAMP of America. Your local car audio shop should be able to order some for you. Depending on the weight of the amp rack, consider using a power window motor, much quieter than a linear actuator. Good luck.

GWhiz,

It seems Amthar has been a bit edgy lately. I think it may have to do with the fact that he has an unused button in his ashtray that is really starting to get on his nerves. But I would say that your post may be a solution to his problems.

Amthar,

Get a linear actuator for SOMETHING. Then hook it up to your unused button. Take pics along the way and post them for GWhiz.

My work is done here.

Antannae motors are a cheap alternative for amp rack motorization, either way you can get the parts you need from cardomain's stereo shop.

good luck and take pics when you do it!
