Audio guys - please help

I am trying to hook up an aftermarket amp to my stock unit. I have an loc and tried to wire it in the trunk. I used the light blue wire for the remote so I have power to my amp put no sound from the sub. I hooked up the loc to the rear speaker wires the four wires on the blue clip going to the stock amp. Did I do something wrong or does it sound like I'm doing the right thing? If so maybe I'll have to go check all my connections. The amp is a sony 1000 watt 2 channel. Any ideas?
