2005 Bose Amp 12V Turn-On Wire
2005 Bose Amp 12V Turn-On Wire
I have read through the forums and most suggest using the sky blue colored wire for a turn on lead. Using my multimeter I only got about 6.1V from this wire. I know most people here have a Coupe, so I decided to research a little further.
I looked in the service manual for my year and it said that the wire color should ber G/W (Which I am assuming is Green/White).
The 2004 Coupe service manual said that the wire should be SB (Sky Blue).
My question is, am I correct that I should tap into the G/W wire? Those who have Sedans, what have you done with your installs?

Well I went out and checked the wire ... I was getting 12V ... so I went ahead and tapped into the wire. It works great. My computer power supply turns on and off automatically with the car.
If you have a Sedan, look for the Green and White (G/W) wire (not Sky Blue) right at the Bose Amp for ACC power. Of course, test with a multimeter first to be sure.
