Based on the features of this unit, I personally think its going to be a hit compared to other double din units.

Unlike many double dins out there, this one has a 7" screen instead of the typical 6.5".

It comes with a hard drive based navigation instead of dvd, which makes it quicker.

It has the best iPod integration. It has a virtual on screen iPod. You cant get any better than that.

What do u guys think?

This is the unit I have decided to get...whenever it finally becomes available. It has what I want, nav, iPod controls, bluetooth capable, & hard drive. I'm waiting to see the price and ship date.

I've been watching for updates on it. There hasn't been an MSRP or ship date listed yet. All info is from the Las Vegas CES show back in January.

i still don't like the Pioneer displays. seen them in person - very grainy... and the response of the system is very much so-so...

The Pioneer is excluded from many people's list because of its safety feature. It is very difficult to bypass

I love reading peoples comments who don't know WTF they are talking about! The Z1 is a DD as explained, and the Pioneer screens are not grainy, least of all the Z1. Regarding the safety feature, it has already been hacked. It simply requires pulsing the illumination line three times. Pac makes a unit that can be programmed to do this.

Response of the system is so-so???? WTF?

All this nonsense on here!
