My custom audio install by sound advice

I finally got my car back from sound advice.. they kept it for a week and i'm very happy with the results. The original sub box is the z enclosure box found on ebay but as many of you know, there is not enough air space for two jl 10w6v2's so sound advice had to custom fiberglass the box to provide air space. They did this by extending the box all the way to the trunk floor so you can't tell its been altered but at the same time you still get the trunk space and good sound performance. I have a JL 1000/1 powering the subs, and a JL 450/4 powering my DLS up6 components and DLS coaxials. I'm running a stinger 1 farad cap on the left side. The audio hits very hard ... i had to turn it down significantly or it'll drown out the music (even with the good speakers). I cant imagine what it would sound like without new speakers! THis is running in conjunction with my Kenwood ddx-8017 headunit. Overall i'm very happy with the install and i think it looks pretty sweet. They also recarpeted the sub box with a darker black finish to match with the surrounding custom floor. It looks a lot sharper than the dull grey that originally came with the box. I also have two red neons lighting up the areas with the two amps. I also have a switch to turn the light on and off

250 for dynomatt, 300 to install amps, 150 for speakers, 250 to refiberglass box, 75 in wires, 50 for neons.. about 1075 out the door.

HELL YEAH SON. That **** looks ill. Exactly how i would do it. Sick minds think alike

Is the red to match the sick *** stoptechs? IF so nice....

I am about to go nuts with my suspension. Im going to order a custom front strut bar ( custom from VRT to fit with the new hood and Stillen Supercharger) I am going to have them poweder coat it red! I love adding matching **** like that. In addition im gona try out that stillen rear trunk brace. It seems like it would just finish the whole suspension **** out, and take my whole trunk t00!

Nice job with the car Mike! It looks sizzzick.

pretty nice setup! Did you get them to build an amp cover? So you can hide them when you need to?
