Navi cost Question

Hey guys i just got a quot to instal an AVIC-Z1 with the ipod adapter and a window tint for about 2k on my 04g35c. Just wondering if that was a resonable price?

Ummm not sure... He has his own shop in souther cali so i think he might be

So he is quoting 2000 for install including the head unit and the ipod controller?

if so that's a pretty good deal considering the price of the HU

with or without the double-din conversion parts? Thats a good deal, but I would be careful about any inscreases...

FYI I would seriously look at full double-din units; they look alot better installed in our car.

not sure. I think he had mentioned it was a custom kit. What's the double din look like? any pics? He did say that out the door it would be $2,000.

You really need to get the details down, or you could easily get screwed by these guys. From what I know the D1 is the new double din the Z1 is single din version.

You need to get the details downs before you confuse anybody...

The Z1 is the latest and greatest from Pioneer- it's dual-din with a 7" wide screen and a 30GB HD, among other features.

The D1 is dual-din as well, and has been updated by the D2.

The N1 is a single-din flipout screen, which has been replaced by the N2, and then the N3.

And it's hawt. Almost makes me want to do the DD conversion.
