MP3yourcar

FYI,

Not sure if this has been discussed already since they are a site sponsor, but I just received an email from a representative at MP3yourcar.com stating that they finally have an iPod soulution for the G35!!!

I am thinking of getting one. Has anyone else purchased one yet??

I checked the PA11-NIS out on the Crutchfield website and using their compatibility feature it said that this would not work with my car '06 Sedan w/Bose system. Is this true???

If Im not mistaken I believe the 05 & 06 are pretty much the same radio. I have an 05 and crutchfield said it wouldnt work but obviously it does. Im 99% sure that it will work, scroll around the first 4-5 pages of this section and I believe there is a concrete answer there. Good luck

I bought one and sent it back

That may not work with the Non-Bose head units, depending on model year. I posted about this earlier this week.

https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/96527-circuit-city-said-nothing-plug-neo-ionaux-into.html

My car is a 2004 6MT sedan with the non-Bose head unit, steering wheel controls, Sat button (but no Sat installed) and no Nav. I have searched everywhere on the web and have not been able to find anyone who successfully used one of these things with a NON-BOSE HEAD UNIT Every install link I've seen appears to be either a Bose or a different model year.

Before you spend your money you might want to make sure it's going to work. I checked out the USA spec item (which apparently is exactly the same as the Neo iOn) on Crutchfield and it said it does NOT work with the non-Bose head unit.

Does the mp3yourcar version also require you to have the SAT button?

I have a 2003 sedan without the SAT button so I cant use the PAII-NIC...but will I be able to use the mp3yourcar version? I do have the bose option.

Thanks.
