2006 Navigation Screen update?

Was looking through the new redesigned Infinit website today. Downloaded the new accessories brochure and noticed a new navigation screen that I've not seen before. This is for those that have Satelite Radio, have you come accross this screen yet?

Or is this a shot of an upgrade to come in the new DVD map or for next year's Navigations System?

I've seen nothing like that for the '06 navi. It must be the new navi coming out for the '07 sedan. Damn... audio controls linked to the navi screen would have been nice. They really know how to gives things out in piece meals, good for the new buyers, sucks for those who already own the G. Seems like they are changing things every year now, something or rather, here and there. They didn't make many changes for the first two years for the coupe or sedan that i can remember.

I doubt we can upgrade to the new features since the controllers are in the head unit rather than the navi. But, it would be nice if someone figured a way to get the audio controls or at least the satellite info to the navi.

That is in the 06 book in the G35 section. I asked the dealer about that and said that feature doesnt actually exist. He didnt know what the picture was all about.

That image is one of the reasons I ordered Siruis with my car, and then I come to find out that the nav doesnt do that.

"Photoshop" from the 07 sedan onto an 05-06 screen. Nice telemarketing to get people buy whatever's left from the current models...

This feature shows up in several of the professional "2006" interior shots. My guess is it made it into the prototype 2006 and it was pulled at the the last minute for whatever reason. I'm sure we will see it for 2007. Its too bad the current oem sat radio is pretty sad as far as the quality/options on it; the only thing it has going for it is that it integrates well...

But you never know this could come as a big Easter egg in a new software update for the 2006 navi. Zenrin usually releases them in October.

Naw I posted this picture way back in 05 when the 06 was just announced. Its just another infiniti goof up. I can confirm that its not integrated into the Nav.

mistake in the brochure, no audio feedback, but it does have the menu graphics like the M and is much faster than my '04
