Where to buy Double Din A/C control

Is there anywhere cheaper than Grubbs that I can buy the A/C controller for my 04 G?

Check with Chad (Chad@infinitispecialists) at Riverside Infiniti. I just got my '06 climate controls from him. Grubbs says minimum 8-week backorder. Not sure if that applies to the '03-'04 as well.

Email him:

J's Garage Export
Yosh1taka Ikeda yosi@j-garage.com

and ask for pricing/shipping info. stuff gets to me in like 2-3 days when he ships from Japan. He can also get the double din finishers in whatever color your dash is where as Grubbs only sells them in the brushed aluminum.

goto www.j-garage.com if you want more info on the company

I bought mine from Yoshi, and they were cool. However, they aren't cheap. The controller and face plate will run you $400 to your door. However, I did mine over a year ago before anyone here carried them in stock.

I've noticed that many local dealerships are starting to carry the dash kit items in stock or have been ordering them for customers. Call your local dealerships to see if you can get them locally and save the shipping costs. Some dealerships have agreements with local G clubs and offer parts discounts to members. Outside of that, Grubbs and Yoshi's are the only reliable sources I know.

Yeah of course you did, but thats what they ran for those of us doing this before it became mainstream like it is today. Grubbs sells the whole setup for $280 shipped.

I think they may have upped their prices. I just bought from Grubbs not long ago, was $340 for 05-06 ac controller & finisher shipped.

Yeah, I hear ya. I realize these parts were more expensive when they were harder to get. I just didn't want people to shy away from doing the DD conversion because they were expecting to pay $400. Grubbs price is $320 + shipping. I'm pretty sure Chad is selling it for less than $300 shipped. I'll see if I can get him to chime in here.
