Type 'USA Spec PA11-NIS' into the search and you should find a lot of info.

I would suggest getting the above mentioned hardware as well as a clip from Pro Clip.

for the Proclip users, i read the instructions that there is some type of adhesive in use, is this the case and did you guys use it?

is it easy to remove? is there some type of clip in use at all or is it all tape?

i'd really like the flexibility to remove it if m ipod breaks or something

It has an adhesive tape on the back, but I didn't use it - just clipped it on. So far no problems. I have the same proclip setup as the pics MISTIKMACK posted.

Totally hidden

I have mine in the upper cubby. I pretty much use playlist mode, so there is nothing to see. However, when I use direct mode (the switch in the 2nd picture allows me to change modes) and want to see the ipod, I simply use the belt clip on my ipod case to clip it to the base that the Nuvi plugs into. Allows me to swivel it to any angle.

Yeah, the adhesive tape is not needed to hold the whole thing intact.

Just made this this weekend for my nano. Used 1/4" wood, cut out the shape, covered it in leather (appropriated from an old laptop bag) Looks pretty good I think.

How is the connection on these? Sound quality, etc. Can you get the same quality as you would playing a regular CD? My brother hooked an ipod up in his Exterra and it has a constant buzzing noise. I'm picking up a G35 in two weeks and I want to put one in immediately so I need to purchase it ahead of time. Its sound like PA11 is the way to go???? Any feedback or info would be huge! thanks!

The PA11 itself takes two minutes to figure out. Has two connectors, one that plugs into where a cd changer would go (and were the pre-wiring for the SAT goes) and the second connector is a passthrough to the main wiring harness (which is where i'm guess it gets power from).

Mounting your Ipod in some places could take more then others..
