Headed to VIR this Weekend!!
So I'm making the 5hr trek to VIR tommorow, I can't wait! I'll be running with the Audi Club, it will be my first time at VIR and my 2nd ever HPDE (first was at Summit Point). Our G's do stand up pretty well against alot of the VW's and Audi's.
I'm running my 03 6MT, the only things I've done to it are:- Hawk HP+ rear pads, OEM Brembo pads front, ATE SuperBlue Fluid, and some lightweight 17" wheels (yes I downsized!) with 255/40/17 Ecsta MX's.
It will be my first track day on these tires and I'm curious as to how they perform. Last time I ran with the Avon A/S M550, which were very mediocre. Also am curious as to how the OEM front pads will hold up at VIR, since Summit isnt as hard on brakes and they held up fine there.
It should be a fun weekend, will post some pics here as soon as I'm back. Wish me luck!

Have a good time. A couple of friends of mine are there this weekend too - look out for a monstrous red 3rd gen RX7 in the instructor group, and a black one in the intermediate group.

I'm hauling it in a white suburban with my wife's RX8 following. You're going to LOVE VIR, it's an amazing track and the audi club puts on a supurb event. You won't be dissappointed.
