Bring it to the track for speed events. There are plenty of them and you can learn a lot, and really go fast, much more safely. Street stuff is something that is a culture, just like smoking pot, tossing dwarfs or shooting neighborhood cats with a pellet gun. You can do it for kicks.........but........

Once you get a taste of tracking your car, you will probably never seriously think about street racing again. Come on out and see what it is all about. Lots of friendly folks to help you out and give you a great eye opening to how to drive and enjoy your car at a whole new level, safely.

Congrats! You're officially in the 'I'm a street racing dumba$$' category!

You've obviously worked your entire life to reach this incredible milestone, so here's hoping a pothole pops up or stray deer wanders into your path sooner rather than later. The quicker you rid the public streets of your juvenile antics, the sooner the rest of the adults in the world can get back to the daily business of driving with respect for others and the law.

I look forward to reading about your next milestones. Which are you shooting for? Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

'How do I get out of this huge-a$$ ticket?'

or:

'My parents cought me driving like an a$$hat and took my keys, what do I do?'

or a personal favorite of mine:

'I got busted for street racing, my car got impounded, do you think my insurance will go up?'

All of these hopefully follow the crap you just posted, in one order or the other. Variations occur, but the theme is fairly constant.

Grow up before you kill somebody minding their own business.

Really? My bad then. Apologies.

Where, if I may ask, did you find a local government willing to close an area and accept the liability for private citizens to race each other?

^I think they call that drag strip... although, government is not liable for any sort of incidents occuring due to racing on a drag strip. Correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm completely aware. Normally at a drag strip you sign away liability when you register to get on the track. I doubt very seriously he was at a drag strip.

Why?

No mention of recorded times, finish speed, launch technique, etc. I would think that if someone raced at a drag strip under controlled, legal conditions, then that would be a part of their story, don't you? Especially if it were their first time.

He says "I don't even think those cars are fast..." If he raced one under controlled track conditions, he'd know how fast they were, down to the hundredth of a second..
