Willow Springs International Raceway
Speed Ventures put on a nice event yesterday at Big Willow. Here are a couple of laps that I will be uploading to the website for Nissan Sport Magazine with an article on driving the track. Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers,
Ed

125 mph into 8
100 into 9
Top speed on front straight approx 145mph
Running on DOT-R Nitto NT-01 tires
Jim Wolf Type 700 ball bearing TT, race tune at 625rwtq
Video is with a passenger so an extra 200 lbs and laying back a bit. Lap times were varied due to traffic, but did three laps with guest in the 1:39.3 to 1:39.7 zone. Without passenger about 1:34
The car is much faster than I am. I couldn't guess how many seconds faster per lap with a real driver, but probably ten or more on those tires. Another three or more beyond that with race tires at least.

Nice, my first time there i started 90 mph into 8 turn in the beginning of the day ended up with 110 by the end of the day. Turn 9 i was always taking @ 90 mph. Strait i only hit 125.
I was suspecting your car had some serious power. Is that thing street driveable?

Yes it is manageable even though it has 625 rwtq. The clutch is an ATS three disc carbon set up, with a ten pound flywheel. But if you adjust your clutch engagement to be closer to the floor, you can drag it very sensitively and lightly on the first gear shift from a dead stop and do it smoothly. I have driven the car in freeway commuter traffic with no problem or irritation at all. The LSD is another story. You have to learn to engage the clutch and glide around 90 degree parking lot turns if you don't want the snap/crackle/pop to send people diving for cover.
