Can't wait go get home and see this pictures. Being 6' tall with a sun roof makes it impossible to sit comportably in my stock seats (with or without helmet). After a full day my neck is hurting. So if I upgrade the seats that means I need a harness which means I need somewhere to mount it which means i had better pay the price and get a decent cage built. That sentence may be over simplified but there is some truth to it.

Bloody nice! Whats your opinion on the seat? Would you get another one? Could you drive x amount of hours in it? How much more head room do you think you got from putting it in? I've a while to go 'till I get one but it's on the top of my list in upgrades.

seat tends to get uncomfortable after about an hour straight. because of new regulation changes and the fact that corbeau isn't FIA homolgated anymore, i won't get another one...i'll save the money and get a seat that's FIA homolgated with head bolsters. this way, i won't have to use a seat back brace or a right side net.

you do gain about 2 inches of headroom, at least. keep in mind though that i removed my headliner so all-in-all, maybe 3 inches total.

there's a saying among us that you should "do all three" when it comes to harness, seats, and cages. basically, if you plan on doing any kind of competition, the rule books are pretty clear - if you run a harness, it had better be attached to a roll cage/bar (harness bar is allowed sometimes, but obviously not recommended), also, the harness has to go through a seat (not stock) made for a harness (ie - not stock).

just make sure you check your local rules and regs from whoever you are going to run with. what i typed may not be universal, but it's a really good idea.

I had my headliner out back a year ago and I actually had ample room with the helmet. But I have this notion that I'll keep the car civilized which is why I put the headliner back in. After looking at those pictures you have above the car looks better stripped with the roll cage in.

Regardless, if I do go competition there goes the sun roof. That'll hurt because I've never seen a sunroof plugged that actually looks better (or good for that matter).
