Thought a few of you may enjoy this.. Not my perfect lap, but not too bad either.

Before anyone picks on me for driving an Automatic - I knocked my shoulder out and couldnt drive a stick for 4 months. Traded my 6MT 350z in for the G 5A.

Local dealership sponsors a few track days for free each year for customers.. Very nice buyer's perk!

It's actually not a helmet cam, its a cheapie'spy camera' from ebay...

Less than $50.. Main drawback - it seems to shutdown after 10 minutes of recording, so you cant use it for too long... Other issue is the format is the same format as a cell phone camera - kind of a pain to edit...

For an Autocrosser, or casual open-tracker, its still a great deal.

Was that #22 or something similar? I think I spoke to you for a bit... You were asking about tire sizes and what not.... I have the blue metallic g35 pictured on the front lower pic at the beginning of the vid..

Cool! Sound quality is on the low side though. Love G35 track videos.

If your gonna make track videos, look into this:

Thats awesome. Does that plug into the ODBII port or something?

Somehow I think itexceeds my $50 toy budget for this project though

THe sound quality sucks b/c the mic is in my helmet, so the wind noise as we go down the track overpowers the exhaust, engine, and tire noise..

I thought I might try a differnet external recorder for sound and experiment syncing the two or something. Otherwise, a fancier rig like you show would obviously be cooler (and more expensive)
