Autocross wheels
I'm looking to get a dedicated set of wheels and tires primarily for autocross but also for the occasional track day. What wheel tire combo is recommended? I've done the Akebono BBK upgrade so I think I have to stick to 19's. Any suggestions?
i would go with enkei rpf1s and a set of falken azenis rt615 for auto cross. the nitto nt05's are real good for road racing but not to sure how they will do on a autocross track. thats a setup i wanna go with.
Stick with 18s, rpf1s are great light weight wheels and are pretty cheap. Same with pretty much all Work Emotions. They all have pretty good brake clearance too.
As for tires, I'd recommend RE11s over NT05s, NT05s are nice, but they burn up quick.

A popular RPF1 size is 18x9.5+15 which is a bit aggressive for true auto-x performance, but you can still make it work I suppose. Just keep an eye on your options.
A great alternative to the RPF1 and made with the same process is the Konig Milligram available in 18x9.5+25. The RPF1 and FN01 still represent GREAT values if you find them used especially!
I use RPF1's. You can also look into TRmotorsports wheels. FN01 from 5zigen is also a good option. Square set-up is the way to go. I use 285's on all 4 w/o issue.
