Yeah ... this was during one of our normal open track events through out the year. It so happened to have collided with the JGTC event at the same place and time. It was neat, as we go to check out JGTC practice for free.
Gosh, I wouldn't be able to handle the fan lap your speaking of ... the temptation to floor it is too great. It would drive me nutz

Excellent vid Clint. Looked like a lot of illegal passing going on there. You seemed to settle in after a few laps and hold your own. Very good.
I'd like to have known what speed you attained on the long left hand sweeper----seemed like 100 plus, but couldn't tell.

For this clip, I held back a couple of notches for the passenger's sake. Even then, I was at approx. 130 mph upon initial entry to the banked turn ... then scrub'd the speed down to approx. 100mph at the apex (lowest point ... just kissing the cones), then accelerate out to maybe 110 before getting on the Stoptechs.
