Yes. There were a total of 10 or so Zs and Gs.

It's optional. The club rents out timing transponders you tie to your car for 30 bux. Each time, I was able to have them give all of us FREE timing device as a group.

They are suppose to get black flag'd and a pep talk. If problem persists ... they could throw you out of the event. However, I don't think that ever happened, as they were passing like biatches all day long. Politics ... if ask me!

Where you driving your car or Gurgens?
I was driving my own car.

Wheeeeeewh! No more questions from you!

The problem with in-car video is you can't get a feel for speed or g-forces. Your keychain helps with the g-force feeling. You can see that thing pointing at the passenger door and staying while you were turning left. Great video!

Hey ... great catch there buddy! I never even noticed

The later G-force was tramendous. I'm kicking myself silly for forgetting to hook up the G-tech Competition RR accelerameter to see. If I had to venture a guess ... I'd say in the neighborhood of 1.5 to 2.0 Gs. It's a far cry from the 2.6Gs I've experienced in a Formula Racer (on flat turns) and dwarfed by the 5+ Gs Champ Cars see at the same banked turn.

Nice steady video Clint, well done. Good feeling for speed going into the Roval at turn 1, and the braking into turn 3. No projectile vomiting from your passenger Gurgen, so obviously you were not going fast enough. J/K
See you at Laguna.

Quite a few actually. A Porsche GT3 kissed a candy stripe berm with his bottom in the chicane and broke a rear axle. A race prepped 350Z ate some wall and tore off a chunk of the rear body work. A G35 nosed into a tire wall to end his day. Some mechanical failures and foibles. A goodly number of spin outs. Nobody hurt anywhere, except for pride bruises. This is not a track for a first timer unless he/she is cautious and conservative. Go to Willow Springs or Buttonwillow for he first time or two. This track, and beyond this one is Sears Point, are devils in two or three spots if you are foolish enough to push it to the point of testing your ability to recover control. If you have the common sense to note where there is little margin, then you don't push it in those two or three spots, and you can have a grand day, including some spins and loosy goosy, with no damage other than some grass clumps on your underside and maybe a cone scrunched under the wheel well.
