Curious if you have any experience with the Michelin Pilot Sports? I currently have the regular AD08's and was going to switch to the MPS, but may end up going with newer model instead.

I ran the MPS's before I switched to the Advan's. Good tires but I like the Advan's and the new ones are even better. I do think the MPS's will give better wear if that is a concern.

G35 Coupe
I would think the MPS Cup tires would be most comparable to the AD08's or AD08R's, but I can't imagine the extra $50-$100 per tire depending on the size is justifiable.

The cup tires are great on a road coarse but not good for Auto-X and I use my AD08R's for both with good results. The cup tires need more heat to work properly and I would agree for the price I don't think the difference would be worth it.

Last event of the year for NASA NW at PIR. It was hot, 97, had to work to keep the car cool. Here is the third of five 20 min sessions

Looks like there will be no NASA events this year in the NW as they reevaluate the region. They have been in the NW two years and I hope they can work things out.
