So i'm looking to build the engine and put some sort of force induction on the car next year. I'm wondering what kind of set up would be the most predictable and controllable. GT35R, GTX6076R, or Procharger?

 

I would think small turbos would be more beneficial for this type of tracking. Are you looking for power or a quicker spooling setup?

 

More towards power, we usually have a pretty big course set up so I don't really need to spool instantly. The car will also be used in the hills and on a Drag Strip.

 

To elaborate on the build, its going to be 11:1 Compression, Water/Meth Injection, BC Stage 2 cam's. Shooting for 475-500 Whp.

 

Pretty high compression for the expected power goals if going turbo. Based on the turbo size is it a safe bet that you're considering a single turbo setup over twins?

 

Well I've talked with mac autosports and they told me its not worth it to go that high of compression so just stick with stock since I don't plan on running much boost. Its going to prolly be procharged with a 2.87 pullies.

 

Well my stock motor is being replaced under my extended warranty, and I getting to keep my stock motor. Now I get to drive my car and build my motor at the same time.

High compression turbo motors are amazing, if you run E85 or race gas. Spools faster, can run more boost/timing with less fear of detonation.
