RoadAmerica 15-16 OCT: Most fun with clothes on!!!

The MFBA is hosting another event at RoadAmerica, "The World's Fastest Road Course."

I attended (in addition to Riffster and Derek173) the April event with my lowly stock-suspension G35X and had the TIME OF MY LIFE!!!!

There will be at least 3 G's there, and hopefully more. Cost is $350 for the both days of racing------a veritable bargain.

My write up of the April event is here: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...sedan+corvette

The link to the MFBA sign-up can be found here:http://roadamerica.fbody.us/

Come one, come all......passengers with helmets are allowed!!!

I LOVE that track. Alas I am in California and only get to drive it with Skip Barber or other such occasions in the little formula Dodge cars. They are quick and fun with those five speed sequential gear boxes....but humping around the course with the G35 would be even better as the little four banger engines just don't get you to more than about 120-125 mph on those long straights. RA is a course for the high HP/TQ beasties. BRAKES BRAKES BRAKES need to be optimized or the kitty litter awaits you.

Take video and let me live vicariously.

Have fun.

I'm sorry to have missed you last time through....although I'm sure it was absolute TORTURE to pilot those single-seaters....

I'm sure the Procharged coupe would do FAR better, but my basically stock G35X only hits about 120-125 before throwing out the anchor for turn 1.

Maybe we can hit up Enterprise and get you into a rental '05 sedan...... I'd love to see the faces on some of the drivers getting passed by a rent-a-car!

Go here, then click on "Registration Open" in the upper left corner.

They haven't updated the "PAID" list, but I'm there, baby!

At the bottom of the waiver page, there is a link to click through to the registration.

Once there, there are 2 more links: one to use Paypal, one to send in a check/M.O.

Fill out everything, print it out, then click on "send" to e-mail the form to MFBA.

I dropped the originals in the mail, just to be sure.

Hope to see you there! PM me if you want to caravan.

I am either retarded or the link is not working. I click on the "registration open" link for the waiver page but no link is included on that page. I emailed fbody for assistance.

I'm trying to get there.

Is this a HPDE? If not, what about insurance?

I have read conflicting reports about coverage. I heard that one accident was fully covered by State Farm, as it is not a “timed event” and instructors are present. I suppose that qualifies as a HPDE. You might want to check with your carrier beforehand.
