Driving schools?
Driving schools?
Anyone here been to any professional driving schools? if so which ones?
I was thinking about going to one with manual cars and they teach better techniques for track driving etc...
The only one i've been to is Mazda Rev it up which was fun since it taught some basic track driving techniques, but it wasnt manual :/

Yessir...Skip Barber in Lime Rock Connecticut. I went twice and took my 18 year old son the last time. Opened his eyes a bit. Why don't you join SCCA and go for a lot less. Skip Barber is $1250 for 2 days performance driving. Racing school is about $3400. SCCA is a lot less. How far are you from VIR? Virginia International Raceway? I know they have a lot of driving events there as well.
heh, vir is probably a 3-4 hour drive for me. I've heard a lot about Skip Barber, friend of my dad went to that and loved it. I just wanted something close by...MIR doesnt have much afaik.
I have taken some of Bobs courses at the Bob Bondurant school of racing in Phoenix, Az. They run a number of different courses so the prices are varied. Their website is http://www.bondurant.com/
I highly recommend them. Very professional, and they really know their stuff.
