Full blown safety solutions?

I was looking into safety solutions and decided that it is better to stay stock than to only switch one part. If i were to do anything I would only feel safe with a well designed solution

I am looking for any suggestions and/or experience with NASA/SCCA TT spec cages, race seats, detachable stearing wheel, and 5 point harnesses.

Anyone have any cage solutions they want to share?

For drivers with just seats and harnesses do you think you are just as safe?

Just curious. What sort of racing do you have in mind?

Nothing specific

I am interested in time trials. I would like to have a daily driver that I could do Time Trials with SCCA's club races and NASA track days. I don't want to win anything specific, just go fast and learn as safely as possible. Once I learn how to drive well I can decide what to do for a full time race car.

Ever thought about getting a cheaper, more disposable car already prepped for club racing? The cost might not be that much more than preping your g with all the safety stuff you're considering. You might even be able to find a race friendly inspector to give you tags so you can drive it to events.
