The G does have quite a bit more body roll than I remember the Z having, but its been a while since my Z was stock lol. Other than sways and coilovers or shocks/sways, I would suggest a front and rear strut tower brace. I know that Stillen makes a good rear and VRT makes a good front. Otherwise, try lowering the ride height a little more.

The brakes were fine as well, but again, it was just an autocross and the course wasn't too brake heavy.

You have upgraded sways and suspension and you are still noticing body roll?? I'm still running stock sways with no STB but with the coilovers with damping set at 4/6 (Fr/Rr) the car is pretty solid. I will be picking up the front STB from Scott at VRT and am still debating going with upgraded sways as this is my daily driver and with the coilovers alone the ride is pretty stiff...

The sways wont make your car ride any stiffer, they will just reduce the lean in turns. Good move on the STB from VRT, that thing is awesome.

Good to know about the sways. From what I understand, aftermarket sways are also adjustable so you can stiffen up just before a track session or reduce stiffness for a road trip!

Yes most of the aftermarket sways are adjustable, but I am telling you, the shocks and springs are the only things that will make you feel more bumps in the road. Sways are used to keep all 4 tires planted on the ground when turning, and thats it. You will feel no difference in a straight line.

Just like what 350ZNV has said, upgrading shocks/springs and sways will only help you turn in better and have your car more planted during turns and uneven surface of the track. However, for structural rigidity, i think the G needs a bit more work; when compared to the Z and especially M.

The front struct brace from VRT is a bit expensive... and that's why I am currently lookign to start with the rear struct brace first. Btw, I already have two tie braces from GTspec that surely have stiffen up the rotational rigidity of the G's body: less body roll.

With regards to lowering the car a bit more, I think my car is already low enough as a daily driver lol..before I will run into problems..

Oh, I forgot about those! Yes the GT Spec chassis braces are also a good alternative, but may not work with all aftermarket exhaust or turbo setups, as is the case with my JWT TT 350Z .

I am now considering the mid-chasis brace (the spider web looking thingy), but is worried that it may sit a bit too low lol...

Btw, would you have any tips for preparing a car for auto-x or tracking?
like should i be changing brake fluid (flush)/ Tranny /engine oil more before or after.

Autocross you can probably get away with a completely stock setup like I did. If you are going to go tracking you NEED to flush the brake fluid and put in something like Motul RBF600 or ATE Super Blue. If you are running a 5AT I would also suggest swapping the tranny fluid to something that can stand a little more heat. If your oil is pretty new then you can leave it in, but I would change it after every 2 or 3 track days. I would also highly suggest changing brake pads, and if you are 5AT adding a trans cooler. Track racing exposes the weakest thing about your car, most if not all of these weak links will be related to excessive heat.

I guess I would then have to flush my brake fluid and tranny fluid

would you have some recommendation on the tranny fluid too?
btw, would you recommend anything other than Motul for the brake fluid for stock brakes?

For trans fluid, I would suggest Royal Purple Synthetic ATF, but make sure that its compatible with that transmission as I am not sure. As for brake fluid, Motul is good, ATE Super Blue is good, and I have even had good luck with Wilwood 570. Whatever you do, do not use a synthetic DOT 5 for your brakes.

I have 0 knowledge on brake and tranny fluids lol..
I have never changed them before..

So may I ask where can i find more information on what is compatible with my tranny/brake system? Moreover, is the brake fluid differentiated as synethic or not like Engine oil and Tranny fluid?

Coz I am looking to go to some general oil change shop to change my brake fluid (flush) next week and do not want them to use the wrong stuff..

Thanks
